Set the stage to have a successful week, and a successful life . . .
- Create a plan. Any goal you have that you do not have a plan for is just a wish. Think about what you want to accomplish, break it down into bite-sized chunks, and start nibbling away. Be optimistic and realistic. If one of your bites doesn’t taste good, that’s OK. A mistake is just another opportunity. Learn from it, adjust, and move on.
- Take it easy on yourself. If you are feeling overwhelmed, no worries. Take a step back, if need be, and take a breather for a moment. Then take smaller steps forward. Be sure to have patience and be persistent. Any step forward is a success, no matter how small.
- Celebrate your wins. No matter how tiny the win may seem to you, celebrating your wins is a great motivator to keep you moving forward. Besides, you are the only one that matters when it comes to you! Make time to give yourself a pat on the back. You deserve it!
